" I can't imagine life without Veyor now. Such peace of mind. Everything just flows. Our peak trading periods, we have no issues."
Micheal Green, Operations Manager, Vicinity Centers

The challenge

Chadstone is one of Australia's largest and busiest retail destinations. Before Veyor, the loading dock was a bottleneck.

Congestion. Delayed deliveries. Angry drivers. Safety concerns. There was no system governing who went where. Drivers would arrive and it was potluck: find a bay, hope for the best.

Security guards were stationed at the dock from 6am until after lunch, just trying to organise trucks, chase phone numbers, and direct traffic. It was, in their words, a madhouse.

The solution

Chadstone implemented Veyor two years ago across what is now a nearly 30-bay loading dock.

There was pushback from drivers at the start. They did not want to change. But once they saw the benefit, they came around. Drivers now know that when they turn up, they get in, they get their bay, they do their delivery, and they are off to the next one.

The system also gives Chadstone's team enforcement tools. If a driver does not do the right thing, their ability to book is blocked.

The results

  • Peak trading periods run without issues: deliveries flow, no holdups, no congestion
  • Security staff freed up: guards who previously spent half the day managing trucks now go to the dock once or twice a day at most
  • Driver satisfaction transformed: the same drivers who pushed back at launch now love the system
  • Retailer experience improved: tenants see fast responses and smooth operations
  • Enforcement built in: drivers who do not comply lose booking access
  • Responsive support: Veyor's team turns around requests within the hour, even during Chadstone's busiest periods
