The Role
As a Sales Development Representative in the Construction Tech market, you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging with construction companies and projects that can benefit from our solution. This role requires extensive research to prospect high-potential projects and stakeholders who are the right fit for our solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify construction projects and companies that align with our solutions.
- Leverage databases, industry reports, and online tools to track and assess high-value opportunities.
- Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, including site teams, project managers, superintendents, and business owners.
- Qualify leads and schedule high-value meetings for our Account Executives.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and leverage sales tools to optimize workflow.
Ideal Profile
- You possess a Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or a related field, and have at least 2 years of experience in business development or lead generation roles.
- Prior exposure to the construction industry is required to understand industry dynamics, build credibility, and effectively influence decision-makers.
- You have extensive research abilities and a knack for digging deep into databases and market insights to uncover new opportunities.
- You are proficient in CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to grow with the company.
